Knotty Wood Plum Cabernet - 1 lb.

This is a long-awaited product from Knotty Wood. They first mentioned this product well-over a year ago. And it's only been available for a few weeks now. 

It's not one for the faint-hearted! While not overly "strong" in smoke presence. It's one of the most complex-tasting pellets I've used. It delvers a double-dose punch of dark bark from the Plum and Cabernet components. The manufacturer claims it pairs well with most anything. But I'd say it's better with darker meats like Beef and Wild Game.

* Being (in most cases) a "full-tree" pellet, Knotty Wood products are much more flavorful than nearly every other brand of pellet. Not in smokiness, but in the characteristic flavor of the wood.
For use in the NInja Woodfire, I consider them superior to just about every other brand.
